RAW Rafferty Interrogation, from CBC.ca
I find this video disturbing on many levels. Besides the murder of a little girl, regardless if MIchael Rafferty was involved in her death, this video is disconcerting. I have never seen a real interrogation video before, only the overly dramatized CSI and Law & Order scenes. If this video is accurate… a “truthful” depiction, it shows a man led into a room without shoes. Did you notice that?
I can’t even place why the video upsets me. Maybe it’s the lifeless walls, the lack of compassion and humanity and the camera’s birds eye view. As though these people are pawns. For us to watch on demand.
